Mrs. Chung Ho “Joan” Kwan, beloved wife of the late Mr. Fai Wing “Wayne” Kwan passed away peacefully on February 22, 2022 at the age of 91 years surrounded by loving family.

Joan was born in China and came to Canada in 1959 where she settled in Vulcan to raise her family.  She helped run the family business for many years, and was an avid gardener sharing the bounties of her garden with numerous friends and family.  She loved to cook and brought over authentic recipes from China which were enjoyed immensely by all who knew her.  She spent many hours walking in the neighbourhood, and liked nothing better than conversing with the people she knew.

Family including grandchildren and great-grandchildren were everything to her. She treasured memories of travelling and special occasions with them.  She had a great heart, was always willing to help and was thankful for her life and those that were in it.

Joan will be lovingly remembered by her three children May Leong, Eddie Kwan, Ernie Kwan and their families.

A private family service will be held.
